Johnson Family Petting Farm is owned and operated by the Johnson family. We are a family of three: Josh, Hannah and our daughter Beth.

Josh grew up out in the country of west Texas. As such, he has had lots of experience with chickens, pigs, goats, etc.  Hannah fell in love with the country life as she fell in love with Josh! It has been our dream to have a farm of our own some day. In the summer of 2019, God presented that opportunity to us. We bought the mobile petting farm from the Phillips family, who were moving to Washington.

We lived in Phenix City, Alabama at the time and serviced the Alabama/Georgia area. It was interesting owning and operating a business in servicing two different time zones and coordinating events between the two on the same day! We enjoyed serving that community! Due to Josh's full time job, we relocated to Central Texas August 2020.

It is amazing to be back in the place we call home! We are servicing all of central Texas and beyond. We have can do any event within two hours radius of our location just north of Copperas Cove. We chose to limit it to hours instead of milage because we really do take the care of our animals seriously. Two hours on the road turns into at least a 6 hour day away from the comfort of home. That means we can service Austin, Waco, Fredericksberg, Hillsboro, College Station, everything in between, and more!
